“Feel So Real” from Scottish electronic musician Unicorn Kid has been floating around in various forms for almost a year but is just now getting an official release/music video. It sounds almost worryingly similar to previous tracks like “Pure Space” but it’s hard to deny the power behind Unicorn Kid’s joyous beats in the moment, no matter how samey they may sound in the long run. “Feel So Real” is a great mix of Daft Punk’s early millennium ELO revivalism and more modern day sample-based dance pop with a jacked up electronica vibe that’s reminiscent of Playstation One-era racing game soundtracks.
