Music
If you want to discover and review new national and international music, join Music Staff! Led by our Music Directors Elizabeth and Mal, meetings on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM in the station lobby. Every meeting begins with Album Club where we discuss an album of the week. Past highlights include Bjork’s Debut, The Avalanches’ Since I Left You, and Carly Rae Jepsen’s E.M.O.T.I.O.N.
Local Music
If you’re interested in discussing and learning about the Athens music scene, join our Local Music Staff! Hang out with Rissa and Joseph, our Local Music Directors, on Mondays at 5:30 PM in the station lobby to hear and review music from local artists.
Events
Have an affinity for event planning? Help our Events Director, Lauren, organize our events on Thursdays at 6 PM in the station lobby! Make decorations, determine themes, and promote station functions.
Publications
Do you want to help design WUOG posters, flyers, and buttons around campus? Join Jo at our Publications Staff on Thursdays at 6 PM in the station lobby! Design show posters, event flyers, and merchandise.
Archiving
WUOG has an extensive archive of records and CDs, and our Internal Affairs Director, Garrett needs help sorting through it all! Join Archiving Staff at 5:00 PM on Tuesdays in the station lobby to explore and preserve WUOG’s history.
Operations
Seeking involvement with the technical side of WUOG? Our operations staff maintains and sets up equipment and mixes sound for bands visiting the station for In-Studios and Live in the Lobby performances. Join Stewie and Danielle, our operations directors, on Tuesdays from 6-8 PM in the station lobby.
News
