Peter Peter is a Quebec-based electronic pop-rock singer who’s soft-spoken French lyrics and understated but emotionally effective synths evoke the best memories of M83 without feeling like a straight ripoff. “Une version améliorée de la tristesse” is a simple but beautiful track that is meant for late-night walks on city streets and post-party reflection periods. Also it has a killer saxophone solo, signifying that we aren’t quite done with the great 2010’s Sax Revivalist Movement. Listen to “Une version améliorée de la tristesse” below.
