Blog: Ranking the head coaches of the SEC

The SEC is the nation’s best conference, and the reason for that is the great players along with the great coaches that play and coach in this league.

So who are the best coaches in the SEC, without further ado, here is my ranking as the 2011 season approaches.

Not Ranked: James Franklin, Vanderbilt, Will Muschamp, Florida
It is unfair to rank Franklin and Muschamp because this is their first year at their respected school, and it is also the first head coaching job for either coach. Franklin is in a difficult spot and Vanderbilt, but Muschamp has a lot of talent down at Florida.

It’s football season, and today I continue a series where I preview the Georgia Bulldogs position by position. Today’s section focuses on the running back position.

If there is one position that has received the most attention for incoming players and players leaving during the offseason, it is the running back position.

It’s also looked at as an area of concern, but it shouldn’t be. There is another position group that’s much more important, but I will get to that group later.
