HOOVER, Alabama — The 2011 edition of SEC Media Days is set to begin and I will be live-blogging from the Wynfrey Hotel. Around 900 members of the media from around the Southeast and the nation are in attendance to cover this event welcoming the 2011 SEC football season.

The season will kick off Sept. 1, but the first Saturday of real action is Sept. 3, only 45 days away from today.

Stay tuned for more updates from today’s festivities and follow me on Twitter for live updates.
