Good evening ladies and gentlemen, Wright Gazaway here for the live blog today. The storms have passed and it’s a beautiful day for baseball. Georgia comes in today fresh off of a 3 game sweep over the 24th ranked Bulldogs of Mississippi State. Craig Gullickson picked up his 3rd win moving him to 3-1 on the season. Junior Tyler Maloof picked up his 11th save. He leads the SEC in that category. Catcher Brandon Stephens led Georgia at the plate—going 3-4 with a double and scoring a run. This game was the last of 11 straight games against ranked opponents, with the Bulldogs finishing 6-5 in them. The win also brought the Dawgs back up to .500 and gave them a 6-3 record in league play. Georgia is now ranked No. 30 in the nation and is hosting Charleston Southern today.
