A High-Noon Breakdown
While many Tech fans are crying into their calculators this morning, I can’t say I’m too surprised. Georgia was far and away the more talented football team coming into this game. From the opening kick, Georgia pushed around the #7 team in the country and pushed around ACC darlings Georgia Tech. With the win, Georgia moves to 7-5 and might just have escaped the clutches of Shreveport and locked down a spot in the Peach Bowl (sorry Chick-fil-A… your sandwiches are delicious, but your corporate sponsorship is not). More importantly, Georgia prevented us all from another year of Tech fans pretending like 45-42 was a blowout.
