SONG OF THE DAY: Solos – “All My Tribulations”
Today we have “All My Tribulations”, the debut track from Solos, a new band featuring Spencer Seim of Hella fame. It’s extremely poppy but has plenty of prog-rock bite to fit its strangely stadium-ready hook. In terms of sound things seem to fall somewhere between The Shins, Surfer Blood and …And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead. “All My Tribulations” is a surefire sign that Solos is one of the best new bands of the year, hopefully their debut album will live up to what we’ve heard so far. Loved the song “all my tribulations.” I will be looking forward to hearing more from Solos. Love the station as well… very refreshing.
