Light in Your Mind is the sophomore album from duo Jack Cleverly and Dan Simons. The album marks a departure from their much more upbeat debut while still maintaining their signature dreamy synth sound. With lyrics and melodies that weigh more heavily on the heart, especially on “Car Crash,” the album explores individuality and change in a way that seems almost nostalgic. Simons and Cleverly created an amazing auditory sensation with tracks like “Asmr” that fully engages listeners. The inclusion of instrumentals makes Light in Your Mind feel like a united body of work rather than tracks thrown onto an album sporadically. Light in Your Mind is well worth the listen.
