STRFKR again hits its psych-pop roots with inspired simplicity in its third full length album. Tracks feature sticky beats and melodies, groovy basslines and plenty to dance along with. Favorite tracks include: “Tape Machine” (1), “Satellite” (2), “Never Again” (3), “Something Ain’t Right” (4). Honestly though the whole album is really just great. It’s full with dark neon-infested dance songs, with heavy synth vibes. The album puts forth the image of a high-school party in the 80’s in the middle of the desert. Full of youth and nostalgic but altogether new songs, “Being No One,” Going Nowhere is one of my favorite albums of the year.
