Though Matthew Cooper hasn’t been idle, releasing music under the name Martin Eden and scoring the movie¬†Some Days Are Better Than Others, it’s been three years since the last Eluvium LP. That changes on May 14th, when he’s set to drop the double-album,¬†Nightmare Ending. Two days ago, Cooper shared 9-minute lead single “Don’t Get Any Closer,” a track that will surely resonate with fans of Eluvium’s previous work. As can be expected, the song revolves around a heart-wrenchingly simplistic piano melody. “Don’t Get Any Closer” sounds like sunrise, or at least an emotional coffee commercial.

As previously stated, Nightmare Ending comes out on May 14th.
