Though Matthew Cooper hasn’t been idle, releasing music under the name Martin Eden and scoring the movie Some Days Are Better Than Others, it’s been three years since the last Eluvium LP. That changes on May 14th, when he’s set to drop the double-album, Nightmare Ending. Two days ago, Cooper shared 9-minute lead single “Don’t Get Any Closer,” a track that will surely resonate with fans of Eluvium’s previous work. As can be expected, the song revolves around a heart-wrenchingly simplistic piano melody. “Don’t Get Any Closer” sounds like sunrise, or at least an emotional coffee commercial.

As previously stated, Nightmare Ending comes out on May 14th.
