Get back into the swing of things with your favorite radio station, WUOG 90.5 fm, this Friday night with a camping themed party! Just follow the little blue lights over to Go Bar (195 Prince Avenue) for an evening of live music and dancing!  No one under 21 will be allowed entry after midnight, so get over there early!

WUOG’s transmitter problems have been resolved and 90.5fm is once more operating at its full power of 26,000 watts. So whether in Athens or the surrounding counties, you can listen to WUOG’s programming once more on your FM dial.

Previous transmitter issues had kept the station at low period for about two weeks.

Hello everyone! Welcome back to the Fall 2010 semester and the jam packed WUOG airwaves!

As a special back to school/learn about the Athens music scene, I have asked local Elephant 6er John Fernandes to join me on Sound of the City at 8:30 pm on Tuesday August 24th. John has played/does play in The Olivia Tremor Control, The Circulatory System, Supercluster, The New Sound of Numbers, The Instruments, Mouser, and countless others that you will hear about on the show. He will be guest DJing, playing some of his favorite music and we will be talking about Athens, music, and the meaning of life.
