As many of you may know, WUOG held interviews for the position of General Manager last night. There were 3 VERY qualified candidates, and it wasn’t an easy decision to make.

Ultimately, we chose Jessica Smith to be your fearless leader for 2010!

Jessica is a 3rd year student at the University of Georgia, and she has been on the Executive Board for the past 2 years. Jessica served as an Operations Director in 2008 and Programming Director in 2009. In addition to her role on the exec board, she has also hosted 2 awesome specialty shows: Boiling Point and The Wrecking Ball. Jessica is a student in the Terry College of Business studying Business Management, and she also is seeking a Music Business Program certificate.

Be sure to say congrats next time you see her around!

The rest of the Exec Board for 2010 will be chosen on Sunday, after the interviews have been completed.
