Faust in Athens – Aux 2k9
AUX will host a workshop with legendary German experimental music group Faust on Sunday, October 11, 2009 at 2 PM at Cine in downtown Athens. The workshop will be conducted in a master class format with limited space available to participants.
If you would like to participate in the master class with Faust, send a brief email proposal that details your interest and how you would contribute to the workshop. Please include your name, contact information, and indicate if you are a UGA student, faculty member, or member of the community. Proposals will be reviewed by committee and selected based on merit and availability.

– ICE (Ideas for Creative Exploration)
In 1973-74 I was the buyer of Import records for the #1 Record Bar store in Columbia, SC. I personally ordered & stocked all FAUST Lps available at the time, and pushed their Lp sales. I have played drums since 1964 and have been playing mainly improvised and/or progressive/experimental music since early 70’s. I have several small instruments in a Faustian vein which I would bring to play/contribute to the FAUST workshop. I am coming from Charleston, SC, attending the concert & staying overnight to attend the workshop.
I would love to participate in the FAUST Master Class!!
